Cinthya Fillips, Licensed Psychological Counselor-Associate

Ms. Cinthya Fillips is a bilingual (English/Portuguese) Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) under the supervision of Lorraine Saldivar, LPC-S, LCDC. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University, along with a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Her approach weaves together compassionate, trauma-informed care in a welcoming way to support lasting change.

Ms. Fillips specializes in working with people who carry heavy responsibilities: leaders, first responders, criminal justice professionals, and others in demanding roles. Ms. Fillips helps them address trauma, anxiety, numbness, depression, childhood wounds, resentment, shame & guilt, stress, attachment issues, burnout, addiction, grief, and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck or disconnected. Many come to her appearing strong on the outside but feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or their loved ones, or weighed down by past experiences that still show up as anxiety, numbness, or self-criticism. She also has a heart for helping teenagers navigate their formative years.

Using tools like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), body-based techniques, and personalized coping strategies, Ms. Fillips works collaboratively with clients to help them feel calmer in their body, clearer in their choices, and more present in their relationships.

At Grace Psychological Services, PLLC, Ms. Fillips provides therapy and support tailored to each client's unique needs in a compassionate environment, helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges toward greater happiness, fulfillment, and well-being.

When she is not in session, Ms. Fillips enjoys meaningful connections with others, exploring the intersections of traffic safety, public health and justice, and outdoor activities.

Ms. Fillips is currently accepting clients through Grace Psychological Services, PLLC, including private pay and as in-network provider for Aetna and Cigna clients.
